Why do we ask for exact measurements, instead of standard S/M/L?
We believe in provding you with a perfect fitting collar, that is made especially for your dog. Collars are made with 5 holes so there is room for adjustment on either side of your measurement.
Refunds & Repairs
**Due to all items being custom made, we cannot accept returns. We also cannot change the size, colour or harware after an item is made. **
REPLACEMENTS &REPAIRS
We stand behind our products. Our hardware carries a 6 month warranty. If your hardware breaks we will replace it (shipping to be paid by the customer). If your product requires repairs outside of our warranty, please contact us.
We will not replace hardware that has become worn or tarnished due to salt water contact- It is your responsibility to rinse products in clean, fresh wate after any beach trips or contact with salt water.
WHAT IS NOT COVERED?
Normal wear and tear, including scratches or scuffs to the hardware or Biothane®.
We will anot replace products that are damaged from dragging on the ground.
While Biothane® is extremely durable, it is not invincable to puppy teeth or chewers. For that reason, we will not replace any product that was destroyed by your dog.
* It is your responsibility to regularly check your gear for defects or weak point to ensure the safety of your dog.
Care Instructions
Biothane® is a very easy material to keep clean and maintain, even on extra muddy days, this is why we love it so much! You can simply wipe it clean with a damp cloth, or you can use a basin of warm soapy water if they are extra dirty!
Salt water has an errosive effect on any hardware, regarless of material used. Please rinse your dogs gear in clean, fresh water after any beach trips, swimming or contact with salt water to ensure longevity of hardware.
Cracking Biothane
Topical flea and tick medication can cause Biothane® to crack. We suggest removing the collar for a couple of days after you apply any topical medication.
As above, it is also possible for cracks to occur on Biothane® with prologed wear due to certain oils that are present naturally on your dogs skin and coat. This does not always happen, but we reccommend giving your dog breaks from wearing their collar every now and then.
